·       We will not sell your data

·       We will only ask for the minimum information we need

·       We will not keep your data for longer than necessary

Confidential Information

Confidentiality is an essential component of our work. All of our conversations, emails, the information we share and the records we keep are totally confidential and will not be disclosed to a third party without your consent. We will only use your data to carry out the contract with you, and will only ask you for data we need.

The information we store:

We will keep necessary information that you provide us with in relation to an initial enquiry or referral that enables us to work with you effectively. Where the information is sensitive, we will only use initials or use anonymisation where possible.

We will also keep information that allows us to schedule meetings, invoice you and keep in touch with you occasionally.

We will keep notes from important conversations we have had with you; these will stored securely and be anonymised where possible. Any physical notes or files are kept locked away and destroyed after two years of finishing working together. If requested, these can be shared with you. All electronically held notes are kept securely for five years from the data of completion of our work with you.

All staff receive supervision for the work they do; they may choose to discuss the work they are doing with you. Supervisions are bound by confidentiality and the same data protection rules.
